The idea of taking the time to intentionally cutlivate nourishing food the way it was designed to be intrigued me. I knew sourdough was better for my family and dove head first into it. It fit our life with chickens and other random natural things I had going. The only problem was I failed. Over and over and over. The bread looked good but it was heavy, or it finally wasn’t but it tasted bad. Sometimes it was flat, and every once in a while IT WORKED. It wasn’t until I took my very first class back in the fall of 2019 that it clicked. I have always been a creative hands on learner. The class broke down every part of the sourdough process and I finally had the results I was looking for! Now my family lives on sourdough, and not just bread. We use it in waffles, crackers and even desserts. It’s a lifestyle now and one I’m thrilled to share!
